Wat CRUKS precies doet

CRUKS staat voor Centraal Register Uitsluiting Kansspelen. De Kansspelautoriteit heeft het register verankerd in de wet Kansspelen op Afstand, en elke aanbieder met een Nederlandse licentie moet erop aangesloten zijn. Aanmelden gaat via DigiD, dus via je BSN. Dat kan vrijwillig, als je zelf vindt dat je te vaak terugkeert naar de goksite of buiten je budget speelt. Het kan ook via iemand anders – een partner, een vriend – nadat de situatie is onderzocht. Een registratie is niet terug te draaien. Geen CRUKS betekent niet automatisch geen toezicht
